RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00063335 Genotype  nlp-1::gfp
Phenotype Remark  A large majority of the time, HSN loss (or presence) correlated with PHB loss. Occasionally, however, one cell or the other was lost. Remark  Authors looked for a correlation between HSN and PHB loss in hlh-14 (RNAi) animals. The nlp-1::gfp transgene used expresses GFP in the PHB neurons (visualized with anti-GFP antibodies). The authors visualized the HSN neurons with anti-serotonin antibodies. The authors results indicate that in addition to determining the fates of HSN and PHB precursors, HLH-14 plays roles in determining the fates of the HSN and PHB neurons themselves.
