Expression Pattern :

Pattern  For the gene C46G7.2, chosen from SAGE data, the bodywall muscles of three-fold embryos was the first site of expression. The larval and adult stages continued to show expression in all cells of this tissue as well as the vulval muscles. There were smaller randomly placed spots of fluorescence within the bodywall muscles along with regular subcellular localisation of the fusion protein, seen in larval and adult bodywall muscles in two clearly distinct components. Unbroken lines of fluorescence, likely corresponding to one of the filament systems, was seen as well as a regular pattern of evenly spaced puncta in between the lines of fluorescence. The lines of fluorescence were greater in intensity than the puncta; whilst the lines could be seen in all the bodywall muscles, the puncta were not always seen. The two independently generated lines created for this gene, one integrated and one not, showed the same intensity of fluorescence and the appearance of random spots within bodywall muscles. The co-localisation of C46G7.2:: mCherry and UNC-112::GFP suggested C46G7.2 is also localised to the centre of M-lines and dense bodies. Staining of actin with rhodamine labelled phalloidin in strain UL2625, expressing C46G7.2::GFP gave further support to this interpretation. Primary Identifier  Expr13613
Remark  Strain UL2859, UL2625

Remark Definition Other Name Public Name Primary Identifier
The stage that begins when a C.elegans individual is fully-developed and has reached maturity. adult Ce WBls:0000041
The C. elegans life stage spanning 620-800min(hatch) after first cleavage at 20 Centigrade. Cell number remains at ~560 cells, with some new cells generated and some cells go through programmed cell death. A stage after elongation is over. The last stage of embryogenesis. Also called pre-hatched embryo, late embryo or morphogenetic embryo. fully-elongated embryo Ce WBls:0000021
A developmental life stage of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans that occurs from egg hatching until adulthood. larva Ce WBls:0000023
The C. elegans life stage spanning 520-620min after first cleavage at 20 Centigrade. Cell number remains at ~560 cells, with some new cells generated and some cells go through programmed cell death. The shape of embryo is elongated and tripple fold. A stage between 2-fold embryo and fully-elongated embryo. Also called pretzel embryo or pretzel stage. 3-fold embryo Ce WBls:0000020
