An integrated data resource for C. elegans and related nematodes

Expression Pattern :

Pattern  The expression of FGT-1::eGFP fusion protein was observed in pharyngeal muscle and intestinal cells. The expression was observed initially in early embryonic stages. Primary Identifier  Expr11125
Subcellular Localization  In adult animals, FGT-1::eGFP was mainly localized in the plasma membrane of intestinal cells. FGT-1::eGFP was only expressed on the basolateral membrane, but not on the apical membrane.

2 Anatomy Terms

Definition Name Synonym Primary Identifier
type of cells that make up muscle layers in the pharynx. pharyngeal muscle cell   WBbt:0005451
any of 20 large epithelial cells which form a tube and are mostly situated as bilaterally symmetric pairs around the tubular lumen. Each of these cell pairs forms an intestinal ring ( II-IX int rings). The most anterior intestinal ring (int ring I), however, is made of four cells. Intestinal cells contain large nuclei with large nucleoli and numerous autofluorescent granules in their cytoplasm. intestinal cell   WBbt:0005792
