| Subcellular Localization | Soon after CDC-25.1 is detectable in AB and P1 nuclei, there is an asymmetric distribution. In early two-cell embryos, where DNA condensation has yet to occur, authors observed enrichment of CDC-25.1 in AB nuclei in 10/12 embryos. This asymmetric nuclear enrichment persists until NEBD in AB and is apparent in all two cell embryos where DNA condensation has begun (n = 18). |
