WSWS298

An integrated data resource for C. elegans and related nematodes

Expression Pattern :

Pattern  PINK-1::GFP is detected in many cell types and is maintained throughout all stages of postembryonic development and adulthood. GFP staining was observed in head and tail neurons and in neurons of the midbody region, such as the canal-associated neurons (CAN). Expression was also seen in many non-neuronal cells including the pharyngeal muscles and the vulva. Primary Identifier  Expr8647
Remark  Picture: Fig. 1. Subcellular Localization  A fraction of C. elegans PINK-1 co-localized with the mitochondrial marker Mitotracker Red, indicating both mitochondrial and cytoplasmic distribution of the fusion protein.
