Expression Pattern :

Pattern  A GFP reporter under the pfk-1.1 promoter is expressed in all examined neurons, including the NSM neuron. Primary Identifier  Expr12930
Subcellular Localization  Under normoxic conditions PFK-1.1 is localized in a punctate pattern at some of the cell somas and largely diffuse throughout the neurites. Upon exposure to hypoxia, PFK-1.1 becomes clustered in neurites, preferentially localizing to synaptic-rich regions and within 0.2 mm from vesicle release sites.
